Hawks Appoint 1st Grade Captain
It is our pleasure to formally announce the re-appointment of Jack Lickiss to the position of Hawks 1st grade captain for the 2017/18 season.
A talented keeper-batsman with a very good cricket brain, Jack led our top team well in his first year in the gig last season and by his own admission will improve further with experience now under his belt. The executive committee view him as a key to the club’s short and long-term success and had zero hesitation in offering him the role, which he has accepted. Congrats to Jack and we look forward to a great season ahead.
Side note: Captaincy positions for all other grades will go through an application process – more details will be conveyed as we inch closer to the season.
