Due to our growing number of both juniors and senior teams, we have begun works on extending the training nets by replacing the unused turf wicket with 2 new synthetic pitches. This will extend our current setup from 4 synthetic pitches to 6. The works will include new lighting and extending the concrete run-ups of the existing 4 nets. No need to worry about the extended run-ups interfering with the boundary line, as they will be staggered from the picket fence side back towards the field, with the longest run-up being against the picket fence. For those who don't know Teeny, she grew up in Southern California participating in competitive soccer, swimming and boxing. Teeny came to Aus to complete her Masters and PhD in Sports Management and has since worked in beach volleyball, boxing, and community cricket. She’s currently the Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator at Qld Cricket and loves being active, chocolate, and rolling up her sleeves. Hello everyone.
A little bit of positive news in these difficult times. With the easing of restrictions we can now have some confidence that cricket season could run as normal. Obviously it is too early to know exactly how that will pan out but it is encouraging to say the least.
With that in mind we will be offering as of this coming Saturday the use of our bowling machine in half hour blocks free of charge to all our members both senior & junior. YOU WILL NEED A PARTNER TO FEED THE MACHINE!

Some exciting news to get your weekend started, the Hawks Team of the Decade is on the way! We will be announcing our official club-wide XI from across the senior seasons 2010/11 to 2019/20 in due course… but in the meantime, hit us with your selections.
We crunched the numbers to come up with a top 30 candidates (listed below in alphabetical order) and even then we couldn’t quite squeeze in some outstanding players – many of whom we hope will be cornerstones of our team of the next decade.

🚨 CAPTAINCY ANNOUNCEMENT🚨
The conditions didn’t come up for their trial game today but the good news is we can now officially announce Mark Wade will return to the position of Masters captain.
Wadey has done a ripper job in running the over-40s group for the last couple of seasons and has without doubt led from the front on the field, picking up a number of association awards along the way.
